Offer one end of a small, soft blanket to baby while you hold the other end.
2
Let them grip it and give a very gentle tug, just enough for them to feel resistance.
3
When baby pulls back, act surprised: "You're so strong! You're pulling it!"
4
Let baby "win" sometimes by releasing your end, the victory builds confidence!

What you need

• A small, soft blanket or cloth

Simple household items. No plastic toys needed.

Why it works
