How to play

1
Tape a large sheet of paper to the high chair tray or table.
2
Offer baby 2-3 chunky crayons and let them scribble freely.
3
Narrate their marks: "Oh wow, is that a big circle? It looks like the sun!"
4
Add your own simple drawings nearby: a face, a flower, a house, and name them.

What you need

• Large sheet of paper
• Chunky crayons or triangular crayons
• Tape

Simple household items. No plastic toys needed.

Why it works

Scribbling builds fine motor control and the foundation for writing. Narrating their marks teaches baby that their actions have meaning, boosting confidence and communication.
