Contact Paper Sticky Wall
Mount contact paper sticky-side-out on a wall and let baby stick lightweight items to it, a magical discovery!
In the Little Play app, this activity appears in week 37 of your baby's personalized plan.
How to play
1
Tape a sheet of clear contact paper to the wall at baby's height, sticky side facing out.
2
Gather lightweight items: pom poms, felt pieces, fabric scraps, leaves, feathers.
3
Show baby how to press an item onto the sticky surface, "Look, it sticks!"
4
Let baby stick and peel items off. They'll be amazed that things stay on the wall!
What you need
• Clear contact paper
• Painter's tape
• Lightweight items (pompoms, felt, fabric, leaves)
Simple household items. No plastic toys needed.
Why it works
Sticking and peeling builds fine motor control and pincer grasp. The vertical surface encourages standing and reaching, and the novelty sparks curiosity and experimentation.
